Legal Support

Answers to frequently asked legal questions can be found here.

Legal orientation will be part of the training provided to participants. We have hired a lawyer with decades of experience with civil disobedience cases as our lead attorney. He is leading a team of pro-bono lawyers who will provide legal counsel and representation for all participants who risk arrest as part of this campaign.

If you are an attorney and interested in volunteering to be part of that team, sign up here and let us know at

Is it true that Senator Harry Reid will be in attendance on Monday? I was told by a volunteer that he would be and, honestly, I’m not sure I want my risking arrest to be part of the establishment grandstanding.

I was planning on coming up Fri-Sat to DC to support you all, but one of your volunteers just convinced me that it’s pointless unless I can make it on Monday, the 11th. Does that sound about right?

If you look all the way at the bottom of this page, there are individual Names, what their title is and emails to contact directly. There is also a person for the training. So, if you don’t get a response here, I would email them directly, maybe get a quicker response. Good Luck.

I have MS and would like to sit in. How would this work? I may need assistance, i.e. from convergence center to the Capitol. Would this be too difficult? What is the distance? Any maps? Thanks.
